Two-cylinder Maxwell’s up until 1909 used spring shackles to mount the springs to the chassis. Typically, these shackles are worn from years of use and abuse. These are new shackles; CNC laser cut from 0.375″ thick mild steel. They are raw, and will need some touching up/finishing to your liking before painting.
