I developed these brake drums to replace the stock pressed steel drums found on the 2-cylinder Maxwell which typically are worn very thin. These brake drums are made from roughly 3/8″ thick steel which will absorb and dissipate MUCH more heat than the stock pressed steel drums and will stop your car reliably.
