These gasket and shim kits are for original Warford transmissions only. I have noticed there are two distinct styles of Warford transmissions; those with an oil filler plug on the side of the case, and those without. I have developed gasket kits and countershaft shim kits for each of these style cases.

The gasket kits include a top cover gasket (0.015″ gasket paper), QTY-2 countershaft shim/gaskets (0.010″ gasket paper) and QTY-2 countershaft shim/gaskets (0.015″ gasket paper). The different thickness included aid you in setting the appropriate countershaft bearing pre-load.

Steel countershaft shim kits include QTY-2 steel countershaft shims (0.015″ spring steel) in case you need to make a large adjustment to the countershaft bearing pre-load.
