Original Maxwell U-joint bodies are most likely worn from years of service with inadequate lubrication. I can provide a rebuilding service to make your U-joint bodies like new again. The body is bored to eliminate the worn holes and new bronze bushings made to a press fit and installed. I also counterbore and install a neoprene lip seal for each U-joint pin as an attempt to keep the lubrication inside the joint instead of all over the underside of your car and the road.

This service works best when your pins are restored to their original dimensions and round. Most used pins have worn oblong and undersized due to lack of lubrication. I have found the best way to restore these pins is to have them hard chrome plated back to size. I can assist with this task.
